Infertility Treatment Specialist

Dr. Eric Daiter writes the infertility tutorials offered by The New Jersey Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine in plain and simple language.

Each tutorial also includes several custom made drawings by Dr. Eric Daiter to illustrate difficult concepts.

Photographs taken by Dr. Eric Daiter (predominantly of gynecologic abnormalities identified and treated during one of his surgeries), radiologic studies (mostly ultrasounds, hysterosalpingogram films, and MRI films), and photographs taken through a microscope (including sperm cells, eggs and embryos at different stages of development, and tissues obtained at surgery) are also included in many of the tutorials.

Dr. Eric Daiter has compiled many frequently asked questions over the past 15 years in practice as a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility expert and hundreds of these FAQs are presented as anonymous case illustrations within the tutorials.

The information within these tutorials is intended to be solely educational. The knowledge and competence that the viewer may expect to develop within the complex medical field of infertility is not a substitute for the medical education that physicians obtain during their medical curriculum and training.

With this in mind, many couples are able to effectively use the knowledge that they gain about human reproduction to guide them through the difficult (and often expensive) process of obtaining medical (infertility) care.

The NJ Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine, LLC

Infertility practices may have very different approaches to patient care.

At The New Jersey Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine there is a strong emphasis on traditional medicine, where a series of diagnostic tests determine the range of causes for the fertility problem and treatments are designed to specifically correct those identified causes. If a number of different treatments are warranted, the less invasive and less expensive treatments are usually suggested first and then the more involved treatments can be considered if the initial treatments do not successfully result in a pregnancy.

The New Jersey Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine does not use highly complex and very expensive treatments like In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) as a panacea ("cure for all that ails you"). Generally, less than 15% of our patients require IVF to successfully achieve a pregnancy.

If you prefer the traditional approach, which may allow restoration of your reproductive potential, or if you have not been successful with In Vitro Fertilization (as an attempt to bypass your existing problems), then you should consider a consultation with Dr. Eric Daiter at The New Jersey Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine. Support Education

The New Jersey Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine and Eric Daiter, MD applaud and encourage the efforts of nonprofit groups that provide emotional and educational support to couples suffering with infertility.

Fertility is often taken for granted.

Most of us grow up expecting that we will be able to establish a family soon after deciding to do so. Therefore, when a couple discovers an infertility problem each partner may feel devastated, a loss of control, cheated, or even ashamed. There is a process of grieving that the couple may need to work through when a fertility problem is identified. Learning about infertility and how modern medicine can diagnose and treat certain problems often allows one to regain a tremendous amount of control.

Two of the best nonprofit support groups available to you are INCIID (the InterNational Council on Infertility Information Dissemination) at and RESOLVE (the largest and oldest patient advocacy organization providing education, emotional support and advocating on behalf of those experiencing infertility) at

If you find the information contained in these infertility tutorial websites helpful and would like to make a financial contribution to support these sorts of efforts, then please consider making a charitable donation to either INCIID or RESOLVE.
